The Cassone Lab is actively recruiting a highly motivated graduate student to help commercialize a cutting-edge multiplex molecular diagnostic tool for soybean pathogens. This advanced technology will revolutionize how Canada detects and manages economically significant soybean diseases.
💼 What You’ll Be Working On
- Develop & optimize a multiplex diagnostic for simultaneous detection of major soybean pathogens.
- Gain hands-on experience in:
- Pathogen culturing
- Field sampling
- Molecular techniques including qPCR
- Contribute to real-world agricultural solutions with commercial impact.
💰 Salary & Benefits
- Annual Stipend: $20,000 – $27,000 CAD
- Full-time M.Sc. position
